I am officially a day late, but my little girl turned 5 whole big months old yesterday! As I sit here and ponder what an amazing five months we've just been through I am listening to the sounds of my little angel screaming her lungs out because she does NOT want to be down for a nap right now. This is only after she was whiney (yes, thanks to me!) downstairs, rubbing her eyes, and yawning like crazy. Ahh, yes, this is my sweetie pie!

To be a little more positive, here, Tessa is making her milestones with flair! She is now eating several fruits and veggies. She, of course, recognizes her bottle when it comes out and gets a bit frantic, but this morning she actually started getting excited when she saw the rice cereal box in my hand. What a nut! It's fun to feed her too, now, because she does get most of the food IN her mouth... and make her cute little, "uummmmm" noise when I get the spoon near her mouth.
Tessa is also getting pretty good at sitting up. I tried to lay her down for her pictures, but that was not making her happy, so she sits for her 5 month pictures. Appropriate, I suppose! Her newest little "things" are fake coughing for attention and she gets so excited that sometimes her laugh comes out as a loud squeak. She's pretty fun!
Well, she continues to yell, and Noel is trying to sleep after a midnight shift, so maybe I should go get the kid. Enjoy the 5 month pics and outtakes!
