Candy Night

I've always enjoyed traditions in our family, even if they have changed a little as I've grown up. My goal this year has been to start a few traditions for our own little family, even if Tessa isn't quite old enough to remember yet. It's ok, because I will, and that's what counts, right?!

Tonight was Tessa's first Halloween! She had NO clue how adorable she looked all dressed up like Minnie Mouse! But I sure had a lot of fun looking at her! We had Grammy, Papa, GG Swoveland and Auntie Em over tonight to have dinner and pass out candy. Nothing huge, but just fun and relaxing (much needed for me after this week!!!).

Earlier today, Noel and I designed (tough job!) and carved Tessa's first pumpkin! I had a lot of fun with it, and hopefully she'll appreciate the effort someday!

Lil' Punkin

Always hungry!!!

A mini Minnie Mouse!

Me and my baby... love!

We didn't even have to prompt her to grab candy... it's instinct for a kid!

Tessa was crawling over the bottom bar of our coffee table...
... and got herself stuck!
