Being Thankful

Hey all, or few of you who care to still look at my blog. I've been holding off lately because my next ultrasound and (hopefully) unveiling of the sex of our baby is coming soon... one week and one day! So, I figured I'd get a side tummy shot plus a new ultrasound all in one day. Hope you all can wait!

Also, I just wanted to mention that I truly am thankful for today. My mom and dad and grandma Swoveland all helped so much yesterday to set up and get the big turkey ready for today. This was my first time "hosting" the Thanksgiving meal, and I was a little nervous. But everyone did soooo much, including Em and Aunt Maggie & fam when they came over today. Helped to provide food and eat the ton of it that we had. My fridge has never been so full! I am exhausted, but I had a great time with the whole family and would do it all again... good thing I don't have to think about the preparation again until next year! Anyway, enough rambling, I just wanted to verbalize my thanks to God for a wonderful family (and the one on the way!), for a beautiful home, so much food and just a great day over all. Life is good!

P.S. I think my mom took a few pictures today, so I'll see if I can steal a few to post them later. Good night!

I wholeheartedly agree! The day was fabulous! You were a wonderful, gracious hostess and Noel a wonderful host. Your beautiful house made being together so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Great kitchen!!!
I am, of course, thankful to God for His wonderful blessings, but I'm also thankful to you for being a wonderful daughter!
